Help!!
Today as been one of those days. You know, the kind where you didn't sleep a wink last night, you've gone through 4 changes of clothes and 2 burp rags, your baby won't eat and smells like spit up? Yes, one of those kind of days.
Here is the issue, it doesn't seem like any of the usual suspects like acid reflux or what not because Abbott isn't fussy and doesn't really cry. He just grunts A LOT and wiggles and writhes around like his belly hurts. He's been doing it occasionally for the past few days, but today hasn't really made it through a feeding without pain or frustration.
What could it be? Any ideas? I guess if we keep this up we might have to take him back to the doctor. I swear our pediatrician is going to fire me for being paranoid mother of the year!

Reuben goes through days like that too Patrice. Our pediatrician said its perfectly normal to have days like that and we should only be concerned if he spits up ounces worth of milk, which is a lot more than we think. As long as he's gaining weight, try not to worry too much. Maybe go buy some more burp clothes so you don't have to do laundry so often :)
ReplyDeleteColsen was like that to at the beginning so we thought he had reflux and put him on medicine. Turns out he didn't have reflux it just something he did for a little bit for no reason. He eventually grew out of it. Hope you get more sleep soon.
